Jiries is currently Chief Advisor to H.E. the Minister of Water and Irrigation, Jordan. He has a B.Sc. Power Electrical Engineering from Damascus University in 1982; High Diploma in Maintenance Management from Reading University, UK in 1987; High Diploma in Automation of Water and Wastewater Works from Thames Water UK in 1992; and Total Quality Management Diploma from St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada.
He has 36 years of experience in all kinds of water and wastewater projects and works (Design, Construction, and supervision), from operations, project management, PSP, financial, contractual, and legal points of view.
His key skills are project management, dispute resolution, negotiation and communication skills, water customer services and tariff structures.
