Hisham has more than 31 years of experience in the corporate world. As CIO of a U.S. Based telecom, he was responsible for the IT infrastructure and all ITC development and implementation. The last 14 years have seen Hisham involved in the energy sector in the KSA with a concentration on temporary power and tri-generation plants. Since 2014, Hisham had been working for Abengoa as the Country Manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Among other things, he was responsible for the development of utility-scale power plants, including solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, and combined cycle power projects in the Kingdom as well as water desalination and wastewater treatment projects. In June 2019 he joined the Saudi Government as an advisor, responsible for the development of the privatization strategy of the Ministry of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources. He is currently part of the MOMRAH Center of Excellence team and heads the PPP Strategic Alliances effort including all stakeholders.
